This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production while supervising and developing team members. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in manufacturing, packaging, or logistics environments and thrives in a fast-paced setting. POSITION DETAILS Supervise and coordinate all second-shift production activities to meet daily and weekly output targets Lead, coach, and develop a team of production associates to drive performance and engagement Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Monitor production metrics (efficiency, downtime, scrap, etc.) and implement improvements Collaborate with first shift leadership to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuity Maintain product quality standards and ensure compliance with customer specifications Identify and resolve operational issues in real time to minimize disruptions Partner with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to support overall operations Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and timekeeping for shift employees Train new employees and reinforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, packaging, or logistics Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing production KPIs and performance metrics Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production/ERP systems Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
