# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** October 19, 2026 **Location:** Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Progressive Care Unit, 34-bed unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; 4 weekend shifts per schedule required**Highlights:** - 34-bed Progressive Care Unit with structured staffing model and collaborative team environment- 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio providing optimal patient care delivery- Experience with non-titratable drips (amiodarone, Cardizem) and tracheostomy care preferred- Electronic Medical Records system in place- Opportunity to float to Medical/Surgical units for professional growth and skill development- Shift structure includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and 2 CNAs per shift**Requirements:** - Active RN license in good standing- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required- Progressive care or critical care experience strongly preferred- Knowledge of non-titratable drips and tracheostomy care is a plus- Ability to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This Progressive Care Unit seeks high-performing nurses who display resiliency, accountability, and integrity in their practice.
